How-To Convert Shuttle Tatting Patterns to Needle Tatting Patterns
There are endless shuttle tatting patterns available in vintage books and publications, republished patterns, websites, blogs, and on the internet free in the public domain (google “public domain tatting patterns” ). There are also new shuttle tatting books now available, with some especially notable wonderful international contributions. But for needle tatters there is much less available in the way of pattern resources. That fact is a sad realization for all new needle tatters, but doesn’t have to hold you back or discourage you. Shuttle tatting patterns can easily be converted into needle tatting friendly patterns, giving needle tatters an amazing array of options and inspirations.
